Although residential place is commonly perceived as a place where great ambience from intricate structure of building could be projected by its designer, restaurant is not quite so. After all, people normally believe restaurant holds the function as a place where dining and chatting go along in a space that would be magnificently furnished while featuring a set of aesthetical decorations to provide a bit of charm to the atmosphere. BETON restaurant by Ukrainian architectural firm YUNAKOV is among the remarkable exception that designs a bold and daring construction for a restaurant.

There is but few people out there to know what the BETON in the restaurant’s name means. However, it is of little significance if the design of its interior is to be concerned. The interior comes in style of contemporary restaurant design which features extensive usage of concrete accompanied by wooden and metallic composition. These set of layout composing items are arranged in ways so intricate that it is near unimaginable for a restaurant.

The primary composition feature is concrete, which is applied to about eighty five percent of the overall interior layout construction including floor, wall, and even ceiling. An important thing to note about this extensive implementation of concrete element is the retro look. Having the concrete unpainted, the concrete construction is assigned to feature its original grey color. This plain look would later be enhanced by the interior lighting and other composing items, like metal and wood that add much to the charm of the interior display.

It needs an equally unique and stunning touch in the furnishing department in order to balance out the look against the interior layout. Inside this concrete built restaurant, most of the furniture featured is mostly built of woods. The purpose of such arrangement is to spice up the look and spark the variation by making contrastive presentation of colors. For the décor, the designer adds a handful touch of rustic frames in shape of abstract polygonal puzzle that are attached to the wall and ceiling.
