I love to see the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations or usually called MuCEM at night. There, there will be many persons enjoying the view of this extraordinary museum at night. It has fascinating looks with blue lights decorating the Marseille. I provide some pictures of this impressive MuCEM that we can observe the detail design and decoration. Check these out!
This amazing National Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations is located in Marseille, France, exactly at the entrance in the Old Port. The MuCEM has been designed by the architect Rudy Ricciotti. The design is really amazing since it is expected to attract ten million visitors. In addition, the design is unusual which is similar to a mineral cube with a large surface measured of 15,000 sqm. This astounding museum is covered with sophisticated frame made of concrete.
As the purpose of the designer, this extraordinary MuCEM was designed to have an unusual shape design which is similar to a coral rock. The concrete is threatened surprisingly to have smooth looks to cover the museum. The museum is connected to the city with a nice path passing the sea. On the top surface of the museum, the flooring is made of well-structured wood panels. Then, inside the room, wood panels are also found for the floor and ceiling with concrete and glass wall.
The MuCEM is indeed the most impressive museum, I think. With the structural design of 15,000 square meters surface with concrete as the main material, and wood and glass material, this museum has undeniable design. In addition, this museum is featured with some surprising lights, the appearance is also unquestionable.
